Thanks for posting our video! I have to admit… the interview itself is somewhat dry, but what he said when we turned the camera off was incredible. Brown told us about how frustrated he is with the way the government gives out no-bid contracts in Iraq. Then he launched into a very compelling story about how US soldiers have died because the government allowed big companies to save money by using cheap kevlar in army helmets. It was the first time I’ve ever been brought to the edge of tears in a one-on-one conversation with a political candidate. He’ll make a good congressman.
Thanks for your comment Ian. I had the opportunity to see Charlie Brown in person at the California Young Democrats retreat in South Lake Tahoe. I was definitely impressed with him and his stories certainly reflect the experience and character that makes an excellent member of Congress.
