Transgender women are often subject to the same, if not more, prejudices and challenges to becoming successful in politics. I'm proud that we allow transgender women to participate in the women's caucus. In MA, we held an event several months ago with a State Senator who was impressed by the number of men who attended our Women's caucus event, and she expressed that she wishes our State Legislator's Womens Caucus should be so lucky.
