Google Voice is an outstanding technological element that can help you organize your personal or professional contacts. The service is a Voice over IP that allows you to receive calls over the web. Beyond being free, one of the best features of Google Voice is that it tracks your messages by texting or emailing them to you.
Thanks for posting, Keith. I've created an account and will be testing it out. I'm thinking about doing a second resource post with stuff I missed in the first one, and MemCatch will most likely be included.

This is a great list, thanks! I just used MemCatch to catch this post and share it with some colleagues that are researching the topic of this post. And then, of course, I saw Peter's post about us. Small world! (I work with Peter @ MemCatch as the CEO) Yes, definitely check out MemCatch since it is free and used for organizing, especially collaboratively organizing. I used to use Evernote, but it is limiting to just collect for yourself and some limited sharing features. Most of the information I collect and organize, I want to share and collaborate around (what I did with you blog post in MemCatch, which of course has a spill over benefit to you). So we developed MemCatch to fill that need to connect with knowledge. As Peter mentioned, we'll have all of the mobile apps and desktop clients out in early 2010, which all have a greater focus on collaboration and sharing. His post was on Dec. 7 - we've already added LinkedIn and Facebook integration since he posted. For the blogging world, I am most excited about our features to integrate RSS feed capture into the knowledge feeds on MemCatch. Those are almost done and should be up in January. Not to "sell" our platform, there is a lot out there to choose from, and we are still haven't completely built out the full platform yet. But we are young and still in very active development, so these online discussions are helping us with our development. Suggestions are welcome!

Besides blogger.com or other free blogging services. If you have your own domain or like to register with a brand-new subdomain, http://www.ecdomain.com is really your own choice of free web hosting. It's feature Fantastico web scripts builder that let you automatically install blog scripts like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, PHP Nuke, XOOPS... within minutes.

Thanks Brett.

I love Buzzword, though the one setback is getting other people to use it. I ended up moving on to mostly working with Google Docs because that was the tool of choice for the people I would be collaborating with.
